FAQs
What mediums do you work in?
I currently enjoy working on both quality mixed media or watercolour paper, and stretched canvas.
While my origins lie in working with acrylic paints, I now love combining a variety of different media, including acrylics, pencils, ink, pastels and charcoal, to create a piece that has energy, life, and layers of interest and texture.
Does your work come framed?
The majority of my work comes unframed to make it easier and more affordable to ship the artwork safely.
Choosing a frame can be a very personal choice. While the artwork itself may suggest the style and colour of frame, the choice may also be guided by your style and preferences.
While works on paper will need to be framed, canvases and wood panels can either be framed, or left as is, depending on the look you prefer.
I believe the framing choice is best left to you, once you see the artwork in your home.
All works, excepting those on paper, will come fixed with picture wire or cord, ready to hang.
Payments
What payment methods do you offer?
Currently I accept payments for online purchases via the secure Stripe payment service or Paypal service on this website. Payments can also be made via direct deposit into my nominated bank account. Please contact me to organise this option as I will provide you with an invoice with bank account details.
Can I purchase an artwork on a payment plan?
I wish to make original and custom art accessible and affordable.
Should you wish to secure an artwork with a deposit, and then pay it off over a number of weeks or up to 2 months, please contact me to discuss arranging a payment plan.
Commission payments are generally made in three installments, which are detailed on the quote/invoice.
Artwork will not be shipped until payment has been received in full.
What are the shipping methods and costs?
Within Australia I ship via Australia Post for small and medium sized artworks. All artwork is carefully packaged to ensure it arrives safely. Unless very small, works on paper will usually be rolled and sent within mailing tubes, whereas works on canvas or wood panel will be wrapped and boxed.
While postage costs may vary, the estimated cost for packaging and shipping some of my standard sized artworks is outlined below:
Canvases - approximately $20-45 depending on size
Works on paper - approximately $20
These estimated prices include registering the parcel so that it requires a signature on delivery.
Can I pick up my artwork?
I live in the beautiful small town of Tingoora, in the South Burnett region of Southern Queensland. If you live locally, you are welcome to pick up the artwork in person or, depending on your location and its size, I may be able to deliver it personally.
Tingoora is located just under 2.5 hours from both the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane, and approximately 2 hours from Toowoomba, making it a great destination for a weekend away should you wish to make a trip to pick up your artwork in person.
Our local area features a number of art galleries, the South Burnett Rail Trail (cycling/walking trail), the beautiful Bunya Mountains, and a selection of vineyards offering cellar door wine tasting, platters and fine dining. To find out more about the South Burnett region, please visit our local tourism site Discover South Burnett.
